Notice anything different when you came to log in? Our holiday layout has been put up! We hope everyone likes it!
If you'd like to change your layout to the Christmas layout, go to your profile and somewhere towards the bottom you will see the option to change your layout from default to Christmas.
We have implented new markings:
-Glitter
-Giraffe
-Dalmation
-Pastel Rainbowize
And we have also upgraded our leopard markings! By popular vote, this particular style was chosen:
Also, genetics have been revised and updated with the implementation of Pastel Rainbowize. They will take effect next breeding season (Winter Season). Previously to pass Rainbowize on body markings, BOTH parents needed to show it. Now only one will need to show to have a 50% chance of passing it on. But pastel rainbowize will need both parents to show.
We also have something a bit undecided...in genetics, when an item is used to produce a mutation, the color of the wings, ect is at random one of the mutation colors of the parents. Rainbowize and Pastel Rainbowize, however, are special in winged mutations. We haven't decided if rainbowize could carry to mutations if a parent shows it.
Also, with the implementation of giraffe and dalmation, we feel the need to clarify the differences in our spotty markings.
Dapples are various, small, round dots scattered across the body. They are spread farther apart than all the other spotted markings, and are also smaller.
Dalmation spots solid, variously shaped speckles. They are larger than dapples, and closer together.
Giraffe spots are not at all rounded. They are jagged shaped and almost fit together like a puzzle. They are the largest spots of all the "spotty" markings.
Lights are often confused with a lot of dapples or heavy dapples. Lights appear to "glow" and are larger, and much closer together than dapples. Each "light" also varies greatly in size, much more so than dapples.
Babies from breeding season will arrive November 21. I wanted to allow ample time for pick ups before the "top secret event" starts. It's going to keep me busy I know, and I don't want to have to deal with certing and such during it.
